Must admit to having stumbled upon the £9 deal by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Fine for a quick meal and picking up the fizzy wine at £9.99 which was included did make it feel like a bargain
  • How do you all manage to know what everything should cost? My friend always checks her receipts but I would never be able to remember what everything I put in my trolley cost.... Luckily I usually get a delivery & check the list carefully know while the driver brings my shopping in as I had a few orders with items I know I didn't select grr..
    1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100
    MFW 2013 no. 62 £10,000/£10,000
    MFW 2014 no 62 £8000/£7000
  • Asda had Country Life butter for 47p instead of 98p, so I boought six. Good job I checked my receipt before I left, it was the UNSALTED that was 47p. I got the money back and changed it, but there was no indication on the ticket that it had to be unsalted!
    I Believe in saving money!!!:T
A Bargain is only a bargain if you need it!

  • I had my shopping delivered yesterday. 2 of the not available today items were multibuys as was one of my substitutions so no discounts there and any thing else that was a BOGOF or a multibuy didn't have the discount applied either. Also some things I know I had added to my basket were "missing" and not on my receipt! Maybe I'll try Sainsburys?

I have complained but don't know what they will say.
  • Hmmm! I got ID'd for the wine!!! I'm 27!!!!!!

    Well done :j :j
Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
  • Have exchanged about half a dozen e-mails with .com customer services about them consantly overcharging me. Last time got 'Double the difference' back - this time they will not budge and told me i should be grateful for a refund as prices are a guide price and can go up and down. I quickly pointed out that this was a 'special offer' which i had been exclusively e-mailed about and that due to there attitude regarding this recent complaint i will no longer be shopping online and even instore in future!!

was the advertising in front of the unsalted country life
  • No offence intended to anyone but surely you should be a bit more careful with what you pick up. There are ALWAYS odd items scattered amongst others when other customers decide they want to change things and leave it where they are instead of returning to correct place.

I am no fan of Tesco but you need to be more careful, read the shelf labels and see what is included before picking up just what is there, even if they have placed a whole load of items in the offer area, does not mean they are included and it is up to us to check.
