Change from SO to DD

I help administer a charity Sports & Leisure Centre, and currently most of our members pay by SO every month, which gives us a big overhead in checking everyones payment every month to make sure that we know who are still members.
Would it help cut down our administrative costs if I was to suggest changing the SO to DD and what incentives would/could our customers expect to persuade them to make the change? Suzie

Most organisations offer either a reduction in cost or entry to a draw.
Since you're a charity, I expect you'd get away with a draw of some description.
A year's free membership perhaps.....0 -
The charity will have to contact its bank, which will test for qualification to be a direct debit originator. http://www.bacs.co.uk/BACS/Businesses/Direct+Debit/Collecting/Getting+started/Getting+started+collecting+Direct+Debit.htm0
