I think that you should add a warning to these posts that by entering a comp with these people, you are consenting to receive "offers" from them.

:beer: I think you've managed to do that all by yourself,,, besides don't most folk have a spam guard/ folder in their email these days?., I have not, as yet been innundated with junk mail..., I'll let you know if it happens.

Have asked VG to add this company to our spam/avoid list. Also, it's quite hard for a spam folder to pick up junk mail or sales calls :rolleyes:

I saw that Gilla - unfortunately the op has listed a few of these spammy comps - I think the t+c were quoted on one of the others - and won't amend the top post to add a warning. Just hope no inexperienced compers enter without reading the whole thread :rolleyes:

But if you could please add a warning in the OPs it will be very helpful for those who don't always read through the whole thread, then they can decide for themselves if they want to risk a whole load of junkmail and sales calls. Many thanks

Thanks Cheeky I've added that site to the Comping Guide.

Shame the OP won't amend their post as there are quite a few compers who enter then read the thread & they will get caught out. Which BG's are around nowadays? Could one of them amend it?

Added to the Comping Guide, Posting Comps section, 10 Are there any sites, from experience, which are likely to generate lots of spam?

I don't mind. I have an email addess for comps that gets full of rubbish anyway...many newsletters etc.

They don't ask for the telephone number so not as bad as My Offers..also I don't mind getting junk mail in the post..I tear it up for the cat litter...so it does me a favour!!
