I'm preparing for my clean/inhibit project for the heating in the summer. Just saw the Screwfix stuff looks like a good Moneysaving option, anyone used them?
Anything outside of the ordinary that I should consider as part of my cleaning job?

I take it your going to add inhibitor to your central heating system, Personaly I would use the trusted brands like Fernox its a couple of quid more but worth it, central heating is expensive when it breaks down !
I have found the no nonsense brands for silicone etc to be ok depends what aplication you need it for.0 -
I only ever use Sentinel, it's only £5 more for the inhibitor.0

They'd sold out of Sentinel at B&Q so I ended up in Screwfix and the Fernox stuff looked like okay value as it goes.
I bought some F3 cleaner, am I okay to use that with the MB1 inhibitor?
Also, the F3 comes in 500ml for 100 litres sytems/10 rads, am I safe to just add twice as much 9as I have 17 rads)?
Just don't want to over/underdose my system...0 -

Yep, bang twice as much in, you can't overdose.
How is Buckingham Palace anyway? 17 rads is a hell of a lot!!0
