Does anyone have any tips on selling textbooks? I'm guessing second hand book shops won't be keen, and the postage would be too high for the Ebay limit.0

Textbooks definately sell best on AmazonNot been here in years! Hi everyone. Make £10 a day challenge = £78.45/1550

Just an update...
I put some of my books on Greenmetropolis at the weekend and sold 2 on Tuesday :j (maybe beginners luck). Even better, the buyer lives about a mile and a half away so I saved on postage and delivered them by hand.0 -
I put some books on Green Metropolis (same username as here) but am yet to sell any. I have more to add soon.0

Well, now I've sold some I'm going to put a load more on and keep my fingers crossed. Hope you sell some soon.0

Hi
I know this is an old thread, but I'm looking into the best way to sell some books I have. Going to try green metropolis. But was wondering if anyone has tried fatbrain.co.uk? Is it any good? It looks like the book equivalent of Music Magpie and just wondered if it was any good
Thanks0 -

I just entered 7 ISBN numbers into fatbrain and every one of them came back as 'we are not buying this title at the moment', so I cant see me using that site again.Moving onto a better place...Ciao :wave:0 -
When I list books on Green Metropolis I always check to see if any are already listed and how many copies are available as if there's loads you can be waiting months for a sale.Freebies Received: Supersavvyme bag, Olay moisturiser, Barbara Daly/Tesco Mascara, Seeds of Change Choccie, Yorkshire Tea Kenyan teabags, Tesco mobile sim cards x 2.
Won: Yorkshire Tea goodie box0 -
We found a dealer who came to the house, sorted through, priced it all up and made us an offer. He didn't take everything but we were happy with the price and didn't have to list them online or anything. You could try asking local second hand booksellers if they would be interested in buying as a job lot.0
