  • Hi all
Not a very good bootsing trip today. :/ Uxbridge only had 3 model me items left and all had finger marks in them. A couple of james brown things @ £2.90 and charles worthington gels @ £2.20 I didn't spend any of my 10 haircare vouchers! Thanks to the uxbridge poster though as i did get 2 putting sets by getting 4 gillette shaving foams. :) Lots left! The boots by the station didn't have anything reduced! I can see me getting 10 frizz ease serums. :rotfl: Hope pinkies are coming back. :)
One quick q, does the £5 off wys £25 come off when you just buy p&p body serum. (recognising the original price?) I thought i saw SS post that it did but can't remember and can't find the post,. :)

  • Nite nite everyone off to dream of sweet Pinkies, fed up with these winkie wrinklies now, a girl can only wash her hair and fill her wrinkles so many times in one day after all.

Perhaps this virus and cancelled shopping trip tomorrow will be a blessing......

Hope I feel better by Wednesday though:rotfl:

    Happy Bootsing everyone.

It must be at the moment Angie, as they were reduced similarly in the same store last year ;) Btw, I also remember other peeps getting them even cheaper last year too - like at 12.5p each ;)

    Snipped!

No such luck in Bristol - I've never seen them reduce anything so cheap!!!! Our clearance shelves are very bad lately as well. Brag books don't look like they are going to be reduced and they are not even 2 for 1!!! You have got some great bargains in your neck of the wood!!!

I can't complain really lol, (but I will in a sec ;)) But it's a rare day when we see anything like £5 of £25 etc. I can't say I've even seen a picture of one posted either

My quick complaint :) There's a SA in a shop that's not so local, and she's knocking on for about 100 ;):D We have the same palaver everytime we pop in, but today she surpassed herself :D She was trying to put some clearance items through (bless her lol) and then, because she didn't understand the computer at all (LOL) she said we couldn't have them! Whoever was overseeing her said that of course we could, so she tried again. It didn't work (:D) so she then said it was only 1 per customer! :rotfl:

After various other excuses, (by which time I was outside giggling lol, and I'm nearly her age so it wasn't an age thing as such, she admitted she doesn't understand the till LOL ;)), she finally succeeded, with a lot of help and by entering most things as 'beauty' (as they do rofl), but then proceeded to drop the shower gels which then leaked on the way home! :rotfl:

I'm off before I'm in BIG trouble ;) Night peeps x

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Poor woman. The problem is when they enter stuff as beauty, (and you are over 60) you dont get the 10% discount.

But you're not in that older category (YET)
