Visited Retford Boots today as was working there today. The ACM was broken, but got some nice bargains.
They had Sanctuary travel sets reduced to £1.72. I bought 3 of these and a heating clay mask at £8.xx. Then used a £3 coupon from a xmas set, so got the whole lot and the free gift for just over £10 in total. I know alot of you have got the free set for less than this today on .com but I was pleased with my bargains! (although I used the clay heating mask tonight and could hardly get it to come out of the tube. I even tried making the hole bigger but it still wouldn't come out - do you think I'd be able to take it back?)
There were some other reduced items that I noticed - a few FCUK items (gradual tanning lotion was one of them, I think). Also, a few Boots essential aromatherapy items reduced, and a couple of baby items on clearance shelf.
Also got the no7 'no grains' exfoliator for FREE with perkie (although SEL still showing £8.xx but went through at £4.xx).0 -

Forgot to mention that the Boots French Manicure sets had 75% off and Elegant Touch too. The Tweezerman that someone mentioned also had 75% off. All on SEL btw.

I picture you both with little maps of each Boots you go into, with a highlighter pen marking out the areas where Dee has to do her 'perkie patrol', pins marking out the areas to go hunting for glitches and finally a big red X to mark the 'treasure' area, i.e. the SS tills, where glitches can be paid for without fear of a dreaded dragon SA!
sandra goes off onto a boots orienteering day out.. + comes home with all the goodies:hello:

kitiaracat wrote: »Hiya not seen you on for ages. Yes you should be able to do it but just prob not at BOT You know how funny they are with vouchers unless you go at the weekend and get a young part time SA they don't tent to mind. I always try things im not sure about at the chemist tills as they also tent to let you use all vouchers.
Hi kitiaracat
For the sake of my purse/bank balance I had to stop reading this Boots Grabbit thread every day!! Too much temptation to be found here!
And like you say, none of the glitches worked in the BOT store and even if they did the SA wouldn't let you have it anyway!!
So I only come on here from time to time now to catch up and seek advice from a great bunch of people who are always willing to help... I sometimes (VERY rarely) find a bargain..come on here to post only to find that someone found it first!0 -

Hello All
Didnt manage a Boots run today but looking on line and the S&G Flirtigo is a moisturising mist and the other 2 that come in the Scent-Sationalism are bosdy srays is that correct?
Also so S&G do a deodrant?
TIA
x
I have noticed today that there are a couple of new S&G items available on dot com - a face massage mini mitt and a nail brush, which I haven't yet seen in branch
S&G don't do a deodorant......yet!
On their Facebook forum, though, people are posting ideas of things they would like S&G to do, and deodorant has definitely been requested by several people.
Fingers crossed!!0 -
totally off topic:
i have aquired a rather large amount of no7 bathing and p&p range.
Being only 22, and not in need of the p&p for noe, i am going to put it into a hamper for my mum for mothers day.
Downside is, i've never made a hamper before, can anyone help me out, where do i get a cheap basket, and stuff to wrap it with from?0 -
