ok think i got quite a good bargain today, accidentally overheard the sa saying that the no7 stay perfect foundation compact was now half price from 12 pounds something and that this was a good buy, i swear i saw at least 3 sa run out to get their bags so they could get their vouchers and get some!
so i waited till they had gone and picked up 1 went to till and yes half price used perkie so only a little to pay made up rest of spend so i could get another perkie and went back and got another one!. This was at the retail park oxford, there is no sel just comes off at till. Oh forgot also got the gillette @97p and 150 points no problems, no cup cakes and santuary sp bags are still full price there. Was brave and tried to get the gwp with the compact (cant believe i tried) but till beeped and sa said no, oh well a girls gotta try eh!

The stay perfect foundation in the bottle is also reduced from £14 to £7 in my store today - probably will be everywhere as the SA told me it was discontinued!!

DAD seems to have gone through the worst with his treatment. He seems to be making progress, or that's what they said. All his hair has fallen out and he has lost loads of weight. Anyway, they said he is getting better, so I will take their word for it. Thanks to everyone for all their support. It's been a horrendous few weeks for me, and I really appreciate all the pm's etc. Thanks.

    :T :T :T :T

Thank God for that. Hope he continues on the road to recovery xx

soooo, that's 2 foundations found at ½ price, the exfoliators are ½ price .. my thoughts here about OP going in a store + all staff grabbing the handcreams + foot balm ... them might be ½ price as well.... so free with perkie :D wonder what else packagings still got to be changed for NO7 ... we know what to look out for in store :D

Sorry, being a bit slow here to catch up. Is Sanctuary GWP glitch over on .com because it is OOS? Thanks

    hi minx and all :)

These were also reduced in a small local store, and there was a decent choice of colours available too. Unfortunately, I forgot to pick one up :o :rotfl:

Off to catch up again.... if I can :D

anyone know if this perkie is working with the 1/2 price electricals?

I was thinking could i get an eyeshadow i want thats 9.80 and the compact trimmer that the till might see as full price first so i could get a gwp and end up paying £10.67 for all 3 :)
  • Started off feeling really low and depressed.:( Was thinking about poor Jade Goody, then so sad for Samantha and David Cameron, and then the news about Wendy Richards.

Found it difficult to think positive (as I'm sure anyone with BC, or any other form of C, or any other illness or sadness knows), and eventually came on here.

Read about the on line glitches, still wasn't very cheerful, then read about someone licking themselves, and OP asking if that was a Boots ritual! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thank you for cheering me up! :T Congratulations to all who managed to get the on line glitches, but I don't dabble in those any more. Firstly, cos I find myself spending more, just to get "free" postage, and secondly cos it's the thrill in the shops that gets me!!!

I know some peeps have to shop on line, cos they aren't near stores like moi, but for me, nothing beats the myriad of feelings a-Bootsing. It begins with the feeling of anticipation ............ where is it, have they moved it, then you spot The Glitch!

Then your hand shakes as you put it in your basket and approach the SA or SS till ..................... then your heart's thumping as you stand there, sweat pouring down between your shoulder blades, will it work, won't it work, OMG, can I stand the suspense ......... yes ....... oh yes ...........OH YES!!!! :j :j

I even felt like this every time I got a JF serum, which I never use!!! Anyway, well done all the peeps who succeeded!! Got my list sorted for tomorrow, Dee has been instructed she is on Perkie Patrol -she's very good at scrabbling around in baskets, whilst I am given SS duty, whilst she packs.

So we'll do PP at Waterloo station (busy rich commuters tend to shun the vouchers, they only want to get their sarnies), then get the free train (Thank You Boris!) to Kingston, 2 for 1 lunch at Pizza Express, 99p coffee at Pret a Manger.

Then John Lewis for our free Origins whatsit, Body Shop for a free bar of choccy each, and then Boots for whatever glorious gitches gorgeous Mr B wishes to pass our way!!!!

And then London and Carousel on Saturday and several more Boots stores to visit. Sad I may be, cos alas my pension is just a tad less than ol' Fred the Shred, who I understand gets £13,000 a week pension!! Mine's £67.99 but I wonder who gets the most fun out of spending theirs?

You can only wear one coat/watch/pair of shoes at a time, and he must get fed up saying "Oh well, it's Friday tomorrow, suppose I'll buy myself another yacht" .............. well Freddy Boy, I may not be doing that, but I don't suppose you'll be getting any No Grains Exfoliator with your Perkie - so THERE!!!!

    xxx
