Hi everyone,
Couldn't resist nipping to Boots (Leicester) today to check out the new offers!:D
Alot of the new promotions weren't advertised and they only had a few of the signs up this morning so all you Leic Bootsers will need to do your research before you go!!
Nothing too exciting in the ACM for me apart from the point offer on Gillette Series which is now 1/3rd off too -
150 points wyb Gillette Series
150 points wyb from the new Extracts bathing range (looked round the store but could only find the body butters so will have to investigate further!
Save £1 wyb from the Soltan Beautiful Bronze range
100 points wyb from the Clean & Clear range
Save 50p wyb Palmolive Naturals Shower Milk 300ml
And a few others – No P&P, gutted!
Had a look round and the clearance stand was being stocked – lots of haircare that would have been free with the hairies, couple of kids toys and other things I can't remember.
I bought the following and there was loads left as of half eleven this morning:
Gillette Aftershave Gel 49p
Sanex Kids Hair & Body Wash 47p
4 x Dove Bodywash 49p (and BOGOF!)
4 x Charles Worthington Mini Hairsprays
Boots Coconut Soap 25p (but went through the till as 16p)
I had a feeling the Dove was on BOGOF, there were no signs or anything though so was glad I picked up 4 instead of 2 just in case cos I wanted to spend over £5 to get the No7 coucher! Plenty of the above left for everyone else but be quick as the clearance bargains I mentioned yesterday had vanished by today!
Also a few more SEL reductions on Natural Collection
Strawberry Soap 49p See here
Ice Musk bath pearls 61p (not on .com)
Took my goodies to the till and the sa smiled and said 'Got some bargains today?' I just grinned and said yes, but the thing is I never use the manned tills usually as I prefer the ss ones so I hope I haven't given myself a rep in there!:o The Gillette ACM points wouldn't scan with the reduced aftershave gel and there was no offer to add them manually but I didn't push it. You should have seen the sa's face when the Dove bodywash @ 55p went through bogof!! She whispered to another SA so I think she was sharing the bargain.
Paid just over £5 for my clearance and NC bargains and gained a pinkie. Then I got a S&G Scent-Sational Set for 521 points and went on my way. Yet another fab little shop.
Big thanks to everyone who spots the glitches and bargains and spreads the joy!!! Off to catch up now.0 -
Hi Girls/Guys
Perhaps those that buy baby things could help me out, my Niece is pregnant and has loads to buy, I've already got her to join parenting club but can you help me with the current deals/offers, not much in the way of offers in the latest mail out she received.
I have already bought her a stash of Huggies New born nappies (in boots of course, great BOGOF offer just after xmas), I have now commited myself to buying ALL the nappies she will ever need (baby that is):rotfl:
So if anyone can help me out with any glitches/best way to buy things and NOT just nappies i'd be really appreciate the help.
I've heard in mentioned there is a £5 off WYS £10m in baby dept where would I get this from.
Thanks in advance eveyone

There was triple points offer on baby stuff when you spend£20 but not sure if this is still on.
Your niece needs to join Huggies club and pampers club for more nappy vouchers and any other parenting club around for freebies eg Hipp Organic for free bib, room thermometer, weaning spoon and samples of baby rice etc.
Big supermarkets run regular baby promos so you need never buy full price wipes! Mr S'brys has just finished a half price event on baby wipes and toiletries including Lansinoh (best nipple cream ever IMO) which is normally pricey. These run every few months so there will be plenty of opportunities to stock up!

I got an email from Boots today, which mentioned the triple points when you spend £20 or more in the baby department in one transaction, so that is definitely still on0 -
Hi all,
Just back from Oxford cornmarket *waves to tiara*
They had: sanctuary sento gift bags for £2.45 (some of them are a bit slimy), reduced mini sanctuary manular tubs for 55p and sento mini (only one sort) reduced to £1.10 (from £2)
Some of the butterlicious is reduced to 1.22, both the tubs and the squirty bottles.
On the accessories stand alot of the RM brushes are very reduced as are the Jemma Kid brushes:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
