Spotted a potential bargain in a smaller Boots today - P&P serum 30ml in glass pump bottle reduced to half price (8.75 I think). According to the SA this is because they are changing the packaging. Unfortunately they had none left, just the tester bottle and the reduced SEL.....just to tease me!! Might be worth keeping a look out for as presumably would be free with purplie and P&P ACM voucher. (Apologies if already posted). HTH

I did wonder about this, as there is a new tube packaging instead of the bottle. Half price would be brill for this - I must keep an eye out :D

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I know everyone has probably got enough hand cream now with the P&P being free, but I found some Vaseline hand and nail lotion reduced to 75p.
Pink bottle, so good for anyone making up pink hampers.

Can anyone clarify please I went to Boots this morning and bought S & G fab pore £5.86 and handed over the £2.00 skincare voucher from S & G, I presumed I would get a perkie. SA said no as the spend at the end of the transaction has to be over £5.00. I then said put my two S & G purchases through also bought the off your face and thought I could use 2 x £2.00 voucher off but she said no as the till would not except it. So I ended up doing 2 transactions to be able to use the vouchers.

How can I get a .com order sent to a branch & pay for it with points - when I try to checkout the .com order it's requesting payment card details ??

    Thanks in anticipation

As far as I know you can only pay with points when placing the order instore (normally at the photo counter). HTH. x
  • Today being the last day to use the S&G emailed vouchers, I was really happy when my parents came over to take the kids out for a little while. It meant, of course, that I could go Bootsing :)

I only visited the Chequers Centre branch in Maidstone, as I wanted to be sure to be back home before my parents got back. I reported on here the other day that an SA had told me the branch would not be stocking the S&G skincare range, but that they did have the 'Wizard of Flaws' in the stockroom. I asked today and a young SA went to find them. If anyone is looking for this in Maidstone, they only have 5 left! I was happy to finally be able to use an S&G voucher, which is valid against this (no till beep)

I ordered some more of the range instore, planning to use my other voucher against this. Till said no - the S&G voucher cannot be used with dot com orders, not even if done in-branch :( However, I did make sure my order took me over the £30 total spend to earn me an extra 250 points using the ACM voucher.

Over several transactions, at 3 different tills, I managed to get

6 JF hairsprays for 44p each, using hairies,
an Olay wash for 86p using a wrinklie
the Garnier eye roll-on for £4.78 instead of £9.78 (thanks to Mimi, I think it was, for pointing this one out)
2 P&P handcreams free using the ACM voucher/Perkie combo
Did 3 for 2s on some S&G, so saved some money there

I also got a No7 P&P 30ml Serum (they had both tube and bottle types - I chose the bottle) and managed to use both the ACM P&P voucher and Perkie against it. The No7 SA also picked up and scanned a GWP for me, with no problem. She told me she didn't think the hairy would work against the JF hairspray, and was very surprised when it did.

There were Mark Hill Colour Protection Sprays marked down to 80p, and Mark Hill Gloss Sprays marked down to 97p. I got one of each, and used a hairy, so they were free as well :) They had quite a few of these on a stand at the end of the aisle.

I got given a few hair/wrinky vouchers and some Perkies during these transactions, and still have 3 Perkies and numerous hairy/wrinkly vouchers left. I'm planning on going back on Monday or Tuesday, once the kids are back at school, to spend my remaining hairy and wrinkly vouchers, and hopefully get another handcream free.

The only reduced No7 now appears to be sun or tan related, so of no interest to me. Everything else seems to be back up to full price.

I came away with 1714 points more than I started with as well, so very pleased with today's haul.

My Mum was delighted when I gave her a hairspray, the colour protection spray and a handcream, and was able to tell her it cost me just 44p for the lot. She's always on at me for spending too much, and I've just proven to her that things can be got for less than she thought :)
  • Hi all. Can anyone tell me, my ACM card has been playing up for a while now  (having to be inserted/wiped/reinserted) and have been advised to get a new one. If I order one, can I still use my current one, or will it be cancelled, therefore I would have to get all my receipts validated and would also be unable to use ACM machine  . Sorry for being off topic. TIA
Your fooling no one bar yourself.

The T&Cs state one voucher per transaction, and not valid for 'Off Your Face' wipes

This may have been covered before, but I've been computerless since Tuesday, so I haven't read back yet.

Today in the Broughty Ferry store, there were at least 4 different varieties of Aquafresh toothpaste half price, and also a couple of varieties of toothbrushes down to less than 90p. Aquafresh is also on 342 at the mo, so if you're looking for a bargain basic toiletry to add to your spend to make £5 and a perkie/wrinklie, might be worth heading down the toothpaste aisle.

    ie 100ml Aquafresh mildmint is only 49p, and 342 :D .

suepernan, you have a knack of being in the right Boots at the right time :T !

I visited 3 Boots on my travels this week, Arbroath has loads of the old packaging No7 suncare, all at £1 each. Dundee has 2 clearance make-up and odds and ends stands on the 3rd floor, nothing much caught my eye though. And their old packaging No7 stand is still vastly overpriced. Broughty is a small shop, but had 2 clearance stands, on the same wall as the main till. I got a big tube of S&G heel cream for £2.45, and as I said, half price toothpaste and 342. Broughty also had a few fcuk sprays (like the Natural Collection bottles) at less than £2 each.

Oh, and got my Clarins samples from the lovely lass in Dundee - like others have said here, only takes 5 minutes out of your time, and the samples are a little work of art in themselves - each one individually boxed, and then presented in a little gift bag. Very cute :D .
