Hi Caris,
Living in Bath, I can tell you that Noahs Ark doesn't get a good press in this area. Apparently it is tied in with religion - God created the world and all that which is talked about a lot there.
Bristol Zoo is always recommended though so I would go for that,

Noah's Ark Zoo Farm promotes a "creationist" viewpoint, though they appear to have removed all reference to this from their website. Google still has cached pages, though - http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22noah%27s+ark+zoo+farm%22+creationist&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a0

You don't have to do the 'religion' thing though at Noahs Ark.
Two questions - how old are your grandsons? What are you aiming for out of the day? If it is to look at the animals, then I would say the zoo; however if it is a large play barn with animals as well, then Noahs Ark will be fine. I wouldn't go to Noahs Ark with children who are very young because 1) they charge from the age of 2 and 2) although their is an area for younger children, the play barn area is more suitable for the slightly older ones.0 -
Hi
Thank you for your replies, however, they came after we had already decided. we chose bristol zoo, and had a really good time, we are really pleased that we chose the zoo, especially as our other choice was noahs ark, we are not a religious family, so that choice would not have been a good one for us.
