As someone who was born in Blackpool and still lives and works there I am digusted by your post. I put it down to you being a newbie and then noticed your post count. I'm astounded that someone who is familiar with these boards would feel it appropriate to post something like that.

How you can claim that is a joke I have no idea. There were small cats and dogs perished because of someone else's idea of a joke. If the firefighters hadn't been able to stop it so quickly we may be talking about human lives too.

I don't care what sort of a town you think Blackpool is, that sort of story is not a laughing matter. If you really do feel the need to post such "jokes", then I think you should have found another outlet for it. This is a money saving community, not a place to pour scorn on the less fortunate areas of britain.

    Gemsy calm down honey.
We are all sorry the cats and dogs perished but i think the op was just commenting on what many people really think, sometimes the truth hurts.
Please be aware no dogs or cats were harmed during the writing of this post.

Y'know, I completely forgot to respond to this. Ah well. Make up your own post. I would have started with something about being intelligent enough to understand satire, if you need a starter for ten.
