What cash ISA...In April??

Hi...need to put max for wife and myself in April...can I get a fixed deal...where's best? ian

    Check again in April. Rates will almost certainly change between now and then. There is no point in planning ahead this far in advance when interest rates are so volatile.
  • If you find in the second half of March that you can get a better net rate from a normal one year fixed-rate account than you can from an ISA, it might be worth thinking about putting your ISA money into one of these, in the hope that when it matures the ISA rates will have improved, and you will still have time to transfer it into an ISA for 2009/10.

    Just make sure that the bond matures in time for you to move the money by 5th April 2010.
