For Tasmania, think Ireland, but with a population of only half a million.
Like Dublin dominates Ireland, Hobart area is home to about half the population,

The West coast is wet, forested and home to evidence of mining and lumber industries.

Is this out of date or BS.

The worst drought for 50 years in China is not this year it was 2006!

There is a drought in North China but not the worst in 50 years (winter rainfall down 43%)

The article seems a bodge together of storys (old and new) to suit an argument.

They give it back too. Look up 'drop bears' when you have a chance.

When I was in WA (Cervantes) last year, with my Melbornian mate we met a Scotsman who was planning on driving to Darwin (iirc) and was totally unprepared. My mate Matt gave him so much stick about drop bears he broke out into a cold sweat. It was priceless.

Yes...there were very similar story's and headlines around this time last year, and many 'soft' commodities were being ramped.

I was doing ok trading soybeans early last year, until it all went pear shaped (as usual) and I vowed to stick to things I understand next time (a very short list  )
