    We can't claim that record he he! We are the second most indebted nation behind America which has about $6 Trillion of Personal Debt!

    It sounds a lot I agree, BUT, it's always worth thinking a little more deeply about these headline figures. This figure actually represents £45k per household, and it includes mortgages. Not every household has a mortgage on their home, as of course some are rented and some are owned outright, but £45k per household is much easier to comprehend than the frankly unimaginable figure of one trillion.
