Bizzare housenetwork pricing..

How bizarre!!!! I wonder whether this is someone who has been told they have to sell, eg, a marriage breakdown, and this is their way of saying they have no intention of doing so. The first doubling of the price was weird, but then to add a million on top just makes you want to see the whole story!
Interesting idea... the vendor is definitely playing some sort of game (and a maybe a current short of a full fruit cake
)

If you pay up front for House Network then it might make sense for the vendor, if they changed their mind about selling for the meantime, to up the price to something silly to prevent viewings but keep them still on with house network so they don't have to pay again when they decide to sell.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I think that sound like what they are doing, pricing it too much so they dont get any viewers, whilst still keeping it on the market.
They probably are not prepared to lower the prices on their houses, but they still want to move in the future, so by markeing at a ridiculous price, the can hold it off until they are prepared to sell, i suppose its okay if your not desperate to sell.I am not a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as not being a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ok, it gets more bizarre...
(this time I was doing something constructive - rather than just having too much time on my hands - and stumbled across this...)

Now, not only are they trying to sell a sub-£300k house for £1.75m, they are also trying to let it out at £6000k a month :rolleyes:
Bearing in mind what you can get for less in the same area... :eek:
Whoever is trying to sell/rent this place really must be an apple short of a full orchard...

This is the problem with trusting information that is given on sites that allow private sellers to register.
Always be careful when trusting the infromation that is given about the property, do not just take for granted that the property actually has what the details state.
Also, take into consideration what they aren't telling you.PartExMyHome0 -
Right, I can see buyers queuing to get this house!!!!
I would rather have this one for £1 million less:

That supports my original theory of a divorce gone VERY sour rather than trying to get around housenetwork pricing. "Yes, sir, your wife really is trying to sell the former marital home. She is even looking for a tenant. So there's nothing we can do, you will have to continue paying the mortgage."Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600Overpayments to date: £3000June grocery challenge: 400/6000
