My son is in the prcess of claiming charges back Yorkshire Bank he has recently recieved a letter asking for income, expenditure, benifit details of all the people living at our address(he still lives at home) before they can continue with his claim. Not only is this insulting to us, but why do they need them it is him that is making the claim for his bank charges. helpppppp somebody!!

I think it is because banks are forced to repay charges in case of "hardship" - so they are probably looking into it from this angle.Dani X

It sounds like your son has applied stating financial hardship as the reason and the bank is investigating his claim to see if its true or not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
