I have just recieved this letter from the courts today,
" it is ordered thate that the claimant do file and serve by 4pm on 11 February 2009, a full financial statement showing running balances and full explanation as to the entries."
We have had no correspondance from the claimant at all, so what does this mean?
Never been through anything like this before, sorry if i seem a little dim. I am the defendant by the way

Sounds like you have to print off some statements from your accounts and put notes explaining each deposit/withdrawal.
These can be fairly common when couples separate and one believes the other is stashing money away before the divorce.0 -
hi, no when we went to court we took everything, they had different figures from what they gave to the court. she gave them 2 weeks which were up on the 11th feb, but we havent had no figures or anything.0

2 weeks for them to explain were the new figures have come from, as there solicotor had no explanation.0

give it a couple more days
if you dont hear by the end of 20th feb call the court and ask wether the claimant has filed the documents required and ask them to send a copy of they have not0 -
ok thanks, thought they might have backed out with us not getting anything by post0
