Scottish Power lost the money !
Last week my pensioner father received an electricity bill for £53, being on a prepayment meter he was very worried, on enquiring on his behalf I was told no payments had been received since last September.
The added statement `we know there`s a fault in the system, please ignore`was an unexpected answer in this day and age, anyone else had similar problems ?

I've had problems with Scottish Power in the past...As far as i'm concerned and the Customer Relations Team are you should not be getting a bill if your on a prepayment scheme ie buying the Scottish Power top up cards.
I contacted SP Customer Relations when I got a bill for a few hundred pounds, they cancelled the bill there and then and apologised - When I talk about Customer Relations I dont mean the normal Customer Services number.
To contact Customer Relations you need to dial the Scottish Power switchboard at Cathcart, Glasgow0
