Well... I've already spent £5.50 of my budget. That's ok though. I plan to keep my head down and prepare for a job interview I have on Thursday so I'll be mainly staying in (I have to prepare a presentation  ).

I've £4.50 left, and I think the only thing I'll use it for is petrol - I've a fridge and freezer stocked with goodies so I shouldn't need to buy anything other than milk and bread.

    ...that's the plan anyway...

    Looking forward to the future.

Spent £10.35 in the pub last night - it would appear cider has taken over my chocolate addiction - not good!

£21.34 spent so far, need some NSDs methinks...

Had a NSD yesterday but probably won't have one today as I need to get milk and bread, which I am counting as spends in this challenge this week (Don't count them normally, but I only have a week until payday, so I will take anything I spend on groceries from the groceries account and use it to make my PADs)

Have a good Monday all (Is there any such thing?!)
  • Hello - So far I have spent £2.84, which is exactly as per budget and on just the things on my list ( I very sadly made a list of the things I could buy each day - Monday was the highest as I bought a few things that will last the week - can't believe I have stuck to it - just need to get through buying petrol tonight without buying some chocolate at the same time !)

Hello All- Happy Monday to you- if there is such a thing!!

So...today spent but not spent £8 ( ) by giving my driving instructor a £5 deposit to borrow his theory test/ hazard perception test discs- will get it back but not till after have passed tests/returned disc, and 'overpaying' for my driving lesson by £3 (cos he had no change) which I will pay myself back on Friday out of next weeks driving lesson fee- (lesson next week £19 instead of usual £22)- that make any sense?
So only real spend will be on bread and milk later (sons mate got a football injury at the weekend so planned climbing trip postponed till thurs (- if happens at all- GET WELL LIAM!!)

    Have a great day y'all.
    xx
  • yipppppeeeeee I am in the green £4.90 spent last week so happy and proud of myself.
Pointy Penguin can you please put me in for £30 this week as its payday on Friday and I will be having a little spend on some treats. Going to try and be good and keep spending down in the week though, so I have more for Friday.
Forgot lunch today so had to buy a sandwich but it was free as ex OH popped round yesterday and left loads of change at my place so had enough to buy lunch yippppeeeee. Not going to spend anything else so hopefully can keep some more money for Friday.

I have spent £1.25 so far on coffee/tea (Oops)

I will also be off to the supermarket later, so some spends there.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday.
  • If I count the dinner I paid for instead of OH then I failed but he is paying me back which means I would have been spot on my £50 for last week.

This week I aim to keep it low - only £20!
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

  • Hi All

Brought lunch in from home so aiming for another NSD, not planning to go out, so should be ok.

As Mondays go, this one isn't too bad, altho that might be cos I'm only in today and tomorrow, then off for the rest of the week!

I'll go for £10 this week.

Got a busy week at work so only going to spend a little on lunch today and make a packed lunch for rest of week.
