halifax regular saver

I applied halifax regular saver on line on 30th January 09. I went yesterday in the branch with personal information and identity and paid my 1st cheque in.
I have arragned monthly standing order dated 20th of every month for next 12 months.
The question is should 20th of every month be ok without loosing any interest? or does it have to be same date as the when 1st payment paid?

If they haven't changed the T&C's since last summer, the earlier in the month you make your monthly deposits the more interest you'll earn over the year.
I seem to remember the account matures on the anniversary of the first deposit.0 -
You need to check when your first payment was credited to your account. You can do this online. You might think you opened the account in Jan but it could have been officially opened in Feb. You can make one payment in each month. If you account was opened in Jan, your Feb payment can be anytime (even the 1st). Paying early in the month will get you more interest. When it comes to the 13th payment, you will need to delay this until the anniversary of your account otherwise it ends up as a 13th payment in the first year and you can't then make the 1st payment in the 2nd year (can't make two payments in one month). There is a thread on MSE somewhere about this...0
