Hotpoint cooker GW74

Hi, I can't get the oven to work on my new Hotpoint cooker model GW74. All the burners on the top work as does the grill. Can you advise on what the problem might be?

have you set the time (of day) on the clock? the main oven wont work if this has not been done. also check its not on auto cook.

yes the time has been set and the auto cook is off. the main oven still is not working.

Does the oven light at all? if you are getting only a low flame it stays on low for about 1 min then comes on full. If no flame at all then give hotpoint a call. they will give further advice or arrange repair or exchange.
