will they close my account?

Options
Hi,

thinking about reclaiming mis-sold ppi from natwest, my only worry is that they might then close the current account which I also hold with them, which is O/D £2,500.00, meaning I would have to pay all that back outright, which I can't afford to do.

Not sure that my credit score is good enough to be accepted for a 0% overdradt account elsewhere, so think I'm best off staying with natwest for now - don't want to antagonise them by reclaiming ppi.

Just wonder if anyone has any thoughts on this?

Thanks V much

I cant see them closing the account. It would be seen as retaliation. I know A&L done this to some and got severely fined a while back.
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

    Hi there

I am sure someone will be along to confirm this but they should not close your account.

Even though mine is not with the same company, but even though they are aware of my complaints to be honest with you they have been very helpful since.
They have to treat you fairly.

And you do not actually write directly to the branch, they should have a head office and its not exactly personal - or your not pointing your finger at anyone, your just reclaiming on what you feel you are entitled to reclaim back, so I would not worry.

You can see what others say as well if you want to but I would try not to let that worry you, good luck and if you need any help with anything please post up anytime, we will be happy to help out where we can.;)

Thanks for posting in Oscar to confirm this, you got there before me lol, cheers x
