Yes it seems you have been mis sold, when you were sold this Credit card, were you actually on income support then?
I was sold a lloyds tsb credit card as the principal holder in 2001, and was an homemaker just receiving the children's benefits.
I would write to LLoyds TSB to complain and reclaim, tell them your reasons as above and tell them you will appreciate it if they will refund you all the PPI paid, interest and charges occurred.
Mine is actually being dealt with by the Financial ombudsman service, the FOS have upheld this but now just waiting for response from lloyds.
You will more than likely receive a standard fob off letter first time, but write again if that is the case, hopefully though you will be successful.
There is a template for reclaiming on this site, but I think its best to add in your own words with obviously your own reasons, if you keep us posted of the outcome we can help you step by step.
They have 8 weeks to respond in full, post by recorded delivery.
If you did want to check out the template and for more information on PPI mis selling check this out here:

But as already said, try to write in your own words.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
