I think that this is a great idea, I did it a while ago. I just put ICE next to my boyfriends name but don't really have anyone to have as an ICE 2!

I remember there was some publicity around this after the underground bombings. I have ICE 1,2, and 3 on my phone.

My sons cub pack have been doing their first aid badge the last couple of weeks and on Thursday they all got told to do this and came home with a letter to all parents telling us to put it on our mobiles if we hadn't already.
It's a great idea and I think the message is gradually getting round.
Maybe the mobile phone companies could put a sticker / leaflet in with all new mobiles to publicise it.

I've had 3 ICE numbers for ages - ICE followed by persons name.

Really good idea - kids have also got three ICE numbers each on their phones - very useful as one is at Uni 300 miles away and the other is about to go in Sept.
