Warning: Postage from Northern Ireland

Hi Folks,
As you may or may not be aware - there is currently an unofficial postal strike in Belfast. As a result, no letters/packages posted to areas outside Northern Ireland are being dispatched and no mail posted in Belfast is being processed.
However, most incoming British and international mail will be delivered.
So just be wary in your ebay dealings. If you're buying from someone in Northern Ireland - you might have to wait for a while to receive your item.
I have some buyers on mainland UK who won't receive their items for God knows how long.
I've been lucky in that they're understanding about it.

Is it ALL items posted from N. Ireland OR just those posted in and around Belfast? We live in Craigavon, some 25 mile from belfast and have been getting post just fine.... not sure about if 'sent post' goes to that one sorting office or is handled elsewhere in the provence?0 -
All items LEAVING Northern Ireland to mainland UK and International destinations are affected.
No post is being delivered in the Belfast area. Post is being delivered in other areas.
All items coming into Northern Ireland are unaffected.0 -
Oh wonderful. i am sure i will be getting some irate ebayers emailing me before the weekend....0

eBay themselves know about the problem and have advertised the fact on their General Announcement pages so you should direct any 'irrate' buyers there.0
