Best way to heat up (sometimes defrost) baby food when out

I usually take a packed lunch like others have said banana, breadsticks, raisins, dried fruit, maybe a sandwich cut into squares. I also take a pot of food usually leftover dinner from the night before. DD eats it cold no problem and if I take something that has been frozen, and I've forgotten to take it out on time I heat it up before i go out so it is defrosted, then give it to her room temp while we are out.0

Don't forget- at 7 months baby's main food should still be milk (breastmilk or otherwise) so as long as baby gets this you really only need a little snack.
We went down the Baby Led Weaning approach so quite often I could order something in a cafe that we could share a bit of, even from 6/7 months (being aware of salt content etc of course). I always used to carry a banana or a pot of halved grapes too.
my daughter is now 16 months and the same still applies0 -
like someone else said, bananas are a great idea because you can mash them on the spot.
When my daughter was a baby I used to take REALLY hot food out and put it in an insulated bag, so by lunch time it would be the right temparature. My theory was, if it was so hot it was bubbling, then bugs were dead and as long as the container stayed sealed, then new bugs couldn't get in to multiply.0
