Be very careful as the sheets are so strong - they are the only brand which regularly block up my MIL's loo.

Our friendly neighbourhood plumber had to unclog our bathroom/loo drains twice in a year... a vile job! :o He said he gets loads of blocked loo/drain call-outs to households that use super luxury/ heavily quilted/impregnated with aloe vera type loo roll, as it takes ages to disintegrate. Those lovely moist wipes are also lethal. We've had no problems since we opted for the less high-falutin' stuff.

Yikes, i bought 4 packs of 24 yesterday. I am hoping our loo doesn't get clogged up now! I bought so many because i thought it would save money (and it does save over £20) but i didn't know about the plumbing problems before i bought them.

  • Trust me, they are nowhere near as 'quilted' as when they were first introduced into the marketplace. In fact, I'm surprised they don't come with rubber gloves included.

like bounty or should we now say plenty not made by the same company that introduced them, licenced to another company
  • Waitrose has the Charmin Linen 4 packs on bogof at £2.69. If you have any of the 50p Good Food Charmin vouchers, you could use two vouchers and get 8 rolls for £1.69 :D

Tesco Spring Force 9 rolls £1.99. Good enough, quilted but not too thick and cheaper than Charmin.
