Just been listening to an elderly couple in Lidl and by all accounts this isn't quite the deal it seems.
He says How many sheets to a roll
She says "Only 180; Andrex give 240 sheets to a roll and a 12 roll pack cost her just £4 in Asda
"Ah!! He says but when Superdrug do their Andrex 9 roll special for £2.99 there are only 200 sheets per roll"
She gets big button calculator out (Me I'm nearly wetting myself listening to this) and works it all out
60 sheets per roll times 24 rolls = 1440 sheets less per pack that's 6 rolls of Andrex or 8 rolls of Charmin
So..... If your keeping up, is this really a bargain;)
My only point is that since the credit crunch, many items have been reduced in size/quantity etc but prices have increased considerably so like this elderly couple (bless em) we all need to be a bit more supermarket savvy to get the best for lessIf youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day!!0 -

Number of sheets is actually irrelevant - it's the thickness of the sheets that makes the difference between a reasonably pleasant bathroom experience and a traumatic one. :eek:Call me Carmine....

And I thought that there was a minimum thickness on which to protect your botty from the brownieBut seriously these guys do have a point about the number of sheets as both producers offer double thickness (I believe)

I bought these and they are about half the thickness of the quilted ones (some unknown make) I buy in sets of 4 for about £1.00 from Home and Bargains. Once I have got through the 24 rolls will be going back to them as they seen to last far longer.Money SPENDING Expert0

Be very careful as the sheets are so strong - they are the only brand which regularly block up my MIL's loo.:hello:0
