Which memory stick?

Hi - I searched but found no threads so sorry if it's already been said. I tried Frans link in the 'hardware to buy' or whatever section and it just said 'an error has occured'.

Right - Hubby wants a memory stick to put all his music and films etc on but I don't know what i'm looking for. I've seen THIS
It is described as Mobile Disk 512MB USB 2.0 - Retail Pack and costs £34.07 inc VAT
Now that seems very cheap from what I've seen so is this what I actually want or is it something completely different ???

That item is a USB 'pen' drive. You insert it into a USB socket on your computer and it acts as an external drive. Very useful for portable storage.

If you are talking about a Memory Stick for a Sony (and other makes) digital camera, camcorder or phone, then that is something completely different. See here.

Sounds like what I want then. It is just so the computer isn't constantly filled up with his stuff. Does this mean he could take it to someone elses house and use?

Great for mobile storage of music but I don't think he will get much in the way of films on it though. Its expensive for permanent storage, wouldn't it be better to burn onto cd,they're cheap enough.
