Requested list of charges and no reply after 11 weeks - advice needed!!

My husband had an Egg credit card a few years ago, now we do not have the account number (looked high and low) In our original letter to them we stated his address, date of birth, other accounts he had with them and a copy of his credit report showing this account, everything we could to enable them to track this account. We have sent several letters asking for details of charges applied to this account but have not received one letter from them even though we sent them by recorded post. Now my question is who do I report them to, is it Financial Ombudsman Service?

Did you check to make sure the letters you've sent have been signed for? I sent one to them just before Christmas - post office can't tell me the status of it. Posted a second letter on the 6/2/09 to a different address to the first one - it was only signed for on the 11th! (so much for next day!)
