Can I Convert My Halifax Current Account To A Reward Account Easily?

    For the moment it does. However during 2009 it will automatically change over to the Reward account.

    Unless you ask for it to be re-designated. But Halifax have indicated they're likely to move that / convert it to the new format sometime in '09.

    Yep, for now there'll be no change (unless you voluntarily change over). They did indicate when they announced this account that other accounts (e.g. HICA) would merge over to Reward at some stage. It's not known yet when/if that'll happen though. They will of course write to you giving you plenty of warning if anything changes on your account.
