Extra travel warrants

Someone has told me if you are based overseas you can get extra travel warrants if you own a property and rent it out is this true?

no, you get nothing serving abroad. i got 12 extra warrants when i was in ireland but it was seen as too far to travel in germany, may have changed since i left and jpa kicked in. plus if its rented i wouldnt think you would get anything as you dont get gyh m in this country if it is.

quite true - if you are serving overseas and have an established family home in UK then you would be entitled to Get You Home (Overseas) - but, as it is rented out, there is no entitlement.

Oh i was asking for a friend who lives in Germany. We are posted to NI and yes we get travel warrants three a year lol and four long weekends travel warrants. We get extra too for traveling home to look after the house we rent out. I just wondered if it was the same for overseas, but thanks for your answers i guess not.

If you live in Germany you get one travel warrent (there and back) a year to visit your family. that is even if you are married and are living in quarters. We used to save ours for christmas when we came home to visit family.
