Sponsorship Letter?!

Hi,

Quite some time ago I remember someone had posted a sample letter they had used to ask companies for sponsorship/grants/financial help when they were stating university.

I have had a look but cannot find the letter - anyone know where it is?!

don't remember the letter - i'm not sure that it'll be all that successful in the current economic climate though.....

A general tip: to search this site, use Google and include the term MoneySavingExpert. I find the site's own search function to be worse than useless.

Before approaching a company, think very carefully about the benefit that they might obtain by sponsoring you, and spell this out clearly in the letter. There might once have been a time when companies would sponsor students because they were worried about not managing to recruit enough graduates, but those days are now a very distant memory!

If you put in to Google site:forums.moneysavingexpert.com and a search term it'll only bring up results from this site - your way will bring up lots of other sites that just mention MSE.
