Hi
I am among the small number (3000/7000 depending on whether you take E&Y or FSCS figures) of retail depositors with KSF who were not part of the Edge transfer to ING, and not with IoM. Reports from FSCS indicate that there are about 7000 awaiting payment but that matters have been delayed because tha data provided by E&Y administrators was incorrect.
I've trawled the boards and 'net and there's plenty of reference to the Edge/ING issues and to the KSF IoM issues but I haven't seen any discussion about those in same position as me.
Has anyone seen any dicussions/is anyione in the same position?
I phone FSCS at regular intervals and am told they cannot give me an indication on timing and also that as the data from K&F was incorerect they now have to manually reconcile the new set of data provided by E&Y.
I fear that as there only a few involved we don't have as much clout as the other lobbiers (Edge/IoM/Charites etc).
As a secondary issue I faxed KSF on 6/10/08 to close the account and forward payment to my bank but, although the funds left my KSF account they never arrived at my bank as of course KSF went into adminisration on 8th October so I assume that the intermediary bank (BoS?) got cold feet and either held the money pending resolution of whether it should move on or back, or simply returned it to KSF.
Any info would be welcome!
Thanks

Myself and my wife are still waiting for over £250k which was in our solicitor's client account ready to pay for our house when KSF went bust. I speak regularly to him, but FSCS are useless!
Has anyone had a compensation payment from the FSCS for KSF monies yet?0
