I got them 100% extra free in Morrisons last week. They are very fragrant really. Similar texture to.... hmmm , pineapple maybe?"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

bit like a cross between a peach and a pear but the size of a small apricot - very smooth - very sweet - and a little fragrant. Mind you, I've only had the tinned ones but they are delicious. I love them as a dessert (with Ice Cream) if I'm in a Chinese Restaurant.0

I think they taste a little bit like very mild, juicy coconut.
Even though when they're peeled they look like something they serve up as a "Bush tucker trial" on I'm a Celebrity, they are v v tasty!! :rotfl:

if you want something quick and easy to do with lycees, make up a fruit jelly, and put the fruit in. You can probably use the syrup as part of the liquid needed for the jelly. I often use up small portions of fresh fruit in this way, but avoid pineapple and kiwi fruit as they contain certain enzymes which prevents the jelly from setting.0

:hello:
I've got a tin of lychees in light syrup sat in my cupboard. I didn't buy them, someone gave them to me. Best before May 2008. I'm sick of looking at them. I don't even know if I like lychees, as I can't remember ever eating one.
What can I make to get them used, eaten and gone please?
Cheers,

Thanks. I haven't got any other fruit in the house.
