My mum hates ironing too, she came up with a good way to get out of it. She made a deal with my dad, she'd start ironing things when he starts doing the garden himself, he never did, always paid me to do it, so there you go.
Edit: Also, yes having a shower n the middle of the day is very satisyfing, mostly because I can just walk around in my bathrobe and not consider the cross gender issues. Though, I really wouldn't mind if my boys wondered round in their boxers a bit more often

Does that actually work, Luc? I have a deal with my housemate, I cook and he washes up and it never quite works out that way because I hate having dishes lying around, so if he doesn't do it in a timely fashion, then I just end up doing it anyway.Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen.
