I hope so Ruby - I've been doing 'visualisation' stuff after doing my hypnobirthing practice. I think the delay is because I've had a really easy and relatively comfortable pregnancy and Bean likes it in there too much - might do some star jumps later:p

Just taken out laundry. The new low temp Gel by Fairy has brought Hubbles' shirts up really nicely, even with a half dose so have just stuck on a load of white towels at 30 with a half dose to see if its as effective... If it is I reckon about 35 loads for £3 is quite reasonable...

Am I the only one who still washes at 60 oC?

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

I only wash at 60 if I'm washing cleaning cloths - like after I've cleaned the oven. Haven't done a wash at higher than 30 for months and the clothes are just as clean...

Edit: just thinking nappies/bibs might change that...

  • I've been washing at 30 to save water and electricty but for the cost not the environment. I have to put it on to re-spin though.
