HELP FIND ME A HOLIDAY FOR US & THE BOYS!

We are looking to take our two boys away, aged 5 & 2 in the October half term. I have been to Centre Parcs before and loved it, however does anybody know of a cheaper alternative. Although the prices for the week we want to go are not really expensive, we would like to spend less if at all possible. I am looking for a place, similar to Centre Parcs, as in nice forest location, swimming pool indoors, a parc and maybe somewhere to eat.... you get the drift!! Hope somebody can help!! Thanks

looks quite promising to me. haven't been, but saw a bit about it on tv the other day, and reviews seem quite good. a bit like centerparcs but cheaper?

Just had a quick look at the sight, and looks promising, it works out £250 cheaper than Centre Parks!!! The only problem, is I live in North Wales so the journey is rather long, but we are definatly going to consider it. Many thanks for the suggestion, it's really appreciated.
  • We were thinking the same thing, we always go to Center Parcs and love it, but have been there 8 times now and feel that we need a bit of a change! We have booked Warmwell in Dorset which has come highly recommended by several friends, we go next month.

It looks really good, we have upgraded to a gold lodge and is still cheaper than Center Parcs

It looks and sounds lovely, again the only problem is the distant, although portable DVD players are a godsend, it would take about 6 hours!! You know the stress levels would be to the roof by the time we got there. I am checking out the other locations though, as the parcs seem really nice. Hope you have a great time! Enjoy

Never been myself but I have friends who rave about this place, it's somewhere between Preston and Blackpool. I think it's probably cheaper than Centre Parcs. https://www.ribbyhall.co.uk/short_breaks/ holiday_parks_blackpool.asp

    I've been Money Tipped!
We went to a Haven holiday park last June for the first time. I was a bit unsure. We had a lovely time. Caravan was great, pools were great, would definately recommend.
We stayed at the Church Farm site.

This place looks just what we are looking for, and at half the price too!!! Just need to get booking it now, many many thanks for you help - you're a star
  • you might get a good, cheaper deal at one of the holiday parcs in southern scotland, simply because they're school holidays in october are usually the week before ours, or at least they have been for the last 2 years, places like castle douglas in dumfries and galloway would be a good start and with places like these, swimming pools, soft play areas, are usually indoors, loads of fresh air in the afternoon, etc. etc. great!
