I'm sure I bought them a couple of years ago in Tesco but I had to ask an assistant as they were somewhere silly like near the bread rather than with the other Chinese food stuff. It could have been Sainsburys but I seem to think it was Tesco.
We are having a duck crown from Asda tonight but having it with a stir fry rather than pancakes because I couldn't find any either. Good luck with finding some.0 -
BTW, whole ducks are on offer in Sainsburys for £7 at the moment. I don't think you'd get a quarter of duck for that in a takeaway or restaurant, so not bad if you think about it that way.
Aye, they actually have the whole crispy duck pack with pancakes and hoisin sauce for 9.99 now if anyone is needing a fix.
Aldi actually do a quite nice half duck pack with no bones for £3.49 if I remember correctly. It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -
Spooky, I just bought pancakes today cos we're having duck tonight.
The Chinese supermarket in Newcastle sells packs of about 10 pancakes for 50p, they're in the freezers.0 -

I was in See Woo in Glasgow today and bought these same items. Plus loads more. It was excellent.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.0 -
I bit the bullet and drove over to Bristol and went to an oriental store that I've been to before. 40min drive each way, but I picked up some other stuff whilst I was there, so it was a worthwhile journey.
I obviously got the pancakes no problem from in there. Pack of 100 for £4.50. Should last me a while.0 -
Our Asda used to have them in the meat aisle, but since I switched depts I really haven't got a clue if they still sell them or not! (They were in a small beige and orange box I think)0

i've had this prob the last 2 christmases, as have done crsipy duck xmas eve, 2 yrs ago i got some pancakes from sainsburys but last yr couldn't find any in sainsbury, tesco or morrisons (will try waitrose next time), i even considered going into my local chinese and just asking if they would sell me the pancakes, in the end we used tortillas which wasn't a bad alternative0

If anyone finds them in any of the main supermarkets I would love to know. Our nearest Chinese Supermarket at least an hour away.0

Well tonight, for the first time, I roasted a whole duck in the oven. Didn't bother doing my normal faffing around with marinating/steaming/deep-frying. Just rubbed some sea salt over the duck, chopped up an onion and a couple of cloves of garlic and put these up it's you-know-what!!along with a splash of soy sauce. Then roasted for about two hours and a quarter. When the duck was all combined with the spring onions, cucumber, hoi sin sauce and pancake, it was still really tasty!!
