Knowsley safari park..nearest hotel? Liverpool or chester?

I want to book a travelodge to go to Knowsley safari park...Does anybody know where the best place to stay is using Travelodge?

If you just want closeness Warrington Lymm Services may be closer but Liverpool Docks is a good location.

And if you need a new window, the monkeys will take it out for you, for free!!. Don't forget the parot and sea lion shows are in with the entry price now. If you can pick up a "local Star" newspaper, they always have kids go free for the park in it as well.
You gotta stay in Liverpool and make a weekend out of it, not sure were a Travel Lodge is, but there is a Travel Inn next to Aintree Racecourse 15 mins from the Park.

Also if you have kids make sure you pick up a leaflet (should be in the travel lodge you are staying in)as they go free off the leaflet.

There is a premier travel inn at the waterside called St Helens north about 15 min from the park.
It is on the A580 right next to carmill dam, this travel inn is well worth staying in.

You could try the travelodge £10 supersaver offer. There is travellodge in Widnes (about 10 mins drive from the safari park)
