A & L misinformation

I rang A & L againlast night and it was confirmed - they will not pay 10% on BTs. The extra 10% is on cashback earned in the year.
i complained that FOUR different people had told me the same thing thus mis-information but I was told that since I hadn't yet tranfered a balance they weren't in anyway responsible as the mis-information hadn't actually taken place if I had transfered a balance.
'This is crap actually' I said as I had paid off a high interest loan with one card to then transfer the balance to 0% A & L (and earn a few quid).
Basically I've been told that I cant prove a thing and to put any complaint in writing.
Looks like I'll be looking for a better card.
Beware any infomation given by A & L even if you quadruple check.

A & L have rang me today to offer me a free bt to any bank account for misleading information previously stated in this thread. No compo as such but better than nothing.
