I "won" a free paintball visit, but it will still cost me minimum £40 per person!

I won a voucher for free entry for a days paintballing. now I though YAY even though I knew it wasnt inclusive of the paintballs but saw on the site that one of their entry packages included the first 100 paintballs free.

My voucher was for up to £525 off entry (for up to 35 people) so I emailed them to ask if I was able to get the package including the paintballs. Now they replied no (which I was fine with) and then a few emails down the line discovered a hidden £10 non-attendance fee (that they initially called a deposit until i asked if it was returned on arrival) PER PERSON that we were now eligible for, now you dont get this back when you turn up but they said they would give us the first 100 paintablls free for this (worth £7) so in my mind I'm being stuck for at least the £3 per person.

Now bear in mind that we would then be buying a package of 500 paintballs per person (which would be more than enough for one day) so those 100 "free" paintballs are likely to be wasted. (otherwise you have to buy in packages of 100 which would work out more expensive than the 500 package!)

I asked for a managers contact details to further enquire into this (they first asked me why I wanted the managers details as apparently they cannot give out the details without a reason) and then refused to give me the details saying the manager was refusing to deal with it and that they had nothing else to say unless I wanted to ring them and book.

This seems a bit of a jip to me as instead of being a free visit I'd only end up saving no more than £5 per person!

I know this is a vent but as I won it off a comp I thought it best posted here.

If anyone else wins something similar from Nationwide paintabll please look out for the hidden "fees"!
