Hello,
Wondered if anyone can help.
i have a Nokia 5220 XpressMusic mobile phone locked to the O2 UK network and would like to use my vodafone sim card in it, therefore need to remove the Service provider lock. Can anyone point me in the way of a website that can provide me with a code. i went on a few sites but the phone didnt seem to be listed?

the 5220 is a BB5 type phone and can only be unlocked by O2 for a fee, or find a shop/market stall to do it direct with service equipmentEx forum ambassador

I phoned O2 and they said they will not unlock it unless it has been used on the network for at least 12 months, not even if i paid!
So looks like i need to find a dodgy phone shop or a market stall with an unlock clip or cable!0
