We purchased a memory foam mattress last dec off a shop on ebay, it is gorgeous and for the money great value too. The last few weeks we have found it sinking more and not regaining it's shape too well and have turned it which you are obviously not supposed to do..ANYWAY! i emailed the seller and he has just rung...45 mins on the phone going on and on about how they are made etc (literally!) how they have had a few complaints recently about the same batch and tbh then i dozed off as, as sweet as he was i just lost interest!!
So he has said normally they will not be sending out the covers on them so you will get just the memory bit IF you decide to ask for a replacement to which i found odd as they don't sell them but he is giving us the whole lot ( it has a 5 year guaruntee)..we have to keep ours in the bag he is sending out and then a courior is collecting, we are then without a mattress for a couple of days which will be a nightmare tbh..
I know you send things back all the time but i just feel odd about this, think it's cos it's ebay (although a shop) and the fact we have nowhere to sleep isn't good! and we may lose lots of money! Very good feedback etc and they have been good so fingers crossed all is ok with it hey!

Get EVERYTHING in writing first. You write to them and send the letter recorded delivery, stating the problem and confirming the details of the telephone conversation. Then ask for them to write back confirming that they accept there is a faulty batch and that they will be replacing it free of charge under the five year guarantee (inc. free collection and free delivery).Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

BEWARE eBay shops, most are genuine but some are not. He has offered to replace and it sounds like he is genuine.
Why will the courier not deliver one and uplift the other? I had a problem with a TV and this is what they did."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

You may find that the 5 year guarantee is actually a warranty. This means that the first 12 months are a full guarantee, but after that it is on a sliding scale. This often means that you have to pay towards the cost of the replacement.
Do you have a link to the mattress on ebay?0
