    Hi There
You cannot claim back on the Policy if you have used the Policy when you have been ill. That would not be a miss sold policy.

    Sorry.

    o well worth asking

I was recently contacted by a company called Torston in regard to claiming back PPI and maybe reducing the some debts. On a no win no fee basis, how ever the charges if they win is minimum of £175 + vat up to 25% + vat.
I did supply them with some info and to day received a letter that they were prepared to take it on and assigned a solicitors called Eastleys to do the job.

They require to sign and return there terms and conditions & Authority letter.Within the terms and conditions is a section headed Fees.
Quote "Our Fees During the initial investigations our fees are limited to £250 inclusive of Vat and disbursements. if we decide to pursue your claim their will be a further £500 to be paid over the next two months (£250 per month). However, at this point we will write to you again regarding our fees.
Please note: the £250 will be returned to you in full if the assessment proves that your agreement is valid. can you please make your cheques payable to Eastleys.

Investigations of this sort if settled without difficult technical issues arising may be concluded within 1 to 2 months" UN Quote

This means it cost me minimum of £250 to a max of £500.
    Wat a liberty

So Ive decided to have a go myself and hopefully with help from u peeps. More money in my pocket.;)

    Hi there 3wfr

There are plenty of these companies out there ripping people off. They rely on the fact that lots of people get scared trying to claim back from these big institutions.

I am so glad you are going it on your own. All money claimed back will then go in your pocket where it deserves.

Good luck and if you need any assistance just post on here and am sure somebody will be able to help you.:D
