I was informed by a paid employee of Cash For Kids that she gets her normal wages paid in to her bank account but she gets a cash in hand bonus every week, depending on how much she brings in through her collections. I do not know if its true i hope not. But is this not illegal? I have tried ot contact cash for kids as i feel this is very alarming due to the fact people donate their cash fir kids not for the employees to receive a cash in hand bonus. Anyone any ideas who i can inform regarding this matter? i am worried if it is not true is she helping herself to a cash bonus

Yes, this is contravening tax laws apart from anything else. You can inform HMRC. Did she say what %age she gets for her bonus? If not, this may contravene fundraising legislation. Have a word with the Charity Commission helpline.£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

Just shows that if peoples donations aren't paying salaries then they are funding this sort of thing...0

Which Cash for kids? It's certainly not ethical, and I think certainly breaks several laws.
