Canon Pixma MP620

I need a inject printer with network connections, have decided upon Canon Pixma MP620.

Has anyone got any reviews on this please ?
Can one use thirdparty ink and if so who do you recomend

I can't recall where, but I read a review in one of the PC mags recently which wasn't very complimentary. They were comparing it with the excellent MP610, and found that it is slower, the scanner has poorer resolution and - probably most importantly - it has significantly smaller ink cartridges which cost about the same. Their conclusion was that Canon is getting greedy with their consumables.

You can use non-original carts, but some don't have the necessary chip included, so you may have to override ink monitoring and hence void the warranty on the print head. If similar in construction to those on the MP610, the carts should also be easy to refill, but again you'll have to live without ink monitoring or buy a chip resetter (at around £20 IIRC).

If you just want a printer (i.e. not a multi function) what about their Pixma iP4600
