Changing Taps

Right I am in the middle of changing a set of taps. My problem is that on one of the taps I can't undo the plastic 'holding nut'. I have tried with tap spanners but can't get it around the plastic nut.
What tool do I need to undo the plastic nut.
Thanks
Ross

is this the nut that holds the tap to the basin? Have you undone the tap connector (tap to pipe?). If you have already disconnected the tap, can you turn the tap on the basin to loosen it from the plastic nut?0

Thanks WaveyDave!
That worked perfectly!!:D0 -
A box spanner is good for undoing and tightening these plastic nuts-
Fitting taps
Also it is a good idea to use the centralising washers, as it makes it much easier to get the new ones tight.0 -
