Help with next step..please

I have followed the letter guide for claiming my PPI. I took out a secured loan with Paragon Personal Finance LTD. Sent the letter on Tuesday and have received a reply today shifting responsibility to the broker...it states "Your application was submitted by brokers, Central Capital Ltd. They acted on your behalf in processing your application and were responsible for the sale of your loan and insurance, ensuring you received copies of t&c of your loan and insurance and answering any questions you would have had. Your brokers handled all paperwpork relating to application and only forwarded to Paragon the fully packaged documents after you signed the credit agreement.
As Paragon were not party to any conversations with your broker regarding the insurance sale we would therefore advise you contact the broker directly."
Is this correct?
How can I find contact details for these brokers and do i then start again with letter one?
Please could someone advise me how to take this further as Paragon also said that this will be their final responce in this matter.

Thanks

    Hi Becky

Its seems you have received the standard response if both broker and lender are involved.

What I would do now is get a photocopy done and send this with an enclosed letter from the lender to Central Capital so they are aware you have already dealt with the lender and tell them you want this investigated within 8 weeks, if you still have a copy of your PPI reclaim letter you sent to the lender enclose a copy of that too.

If you check on the PPI reclaim discussion thread there are some posts from Incipience which you may find interesting, as apparently both the lender and broker have a responsibility here.

Good luck, keep to the same procedures as before, unfortunately this just means its another 8 weeks, but it seems you did not wait that long for a response from the lender, please keep us posted and give us a yell if you require any further help/info.;)

Ask Paragon for Central Capitals details if you don't have them.
